Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess clients and design therapy programs across post-acute, long-term care, and home health settings. You will conduct evaluations, set realistic goals, document plans, and educate patients and families to improve daily living activities.

Licensed OT in applicable states is required; NBCOT certification preferred. BLS for healthcare providers is mandatory, and a valid driver's license may be needed for some locations.

Qualifications

• Must hold OT licensure in state(s) of practice.
• NBCOT certification preferred.
• BLS for Health Care Providers required or within first 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients/patients/residents and design occupational therapy treatments.
• Conduct evaluations and provide interventions for functional, cognitive or behavioral impairments.
• Document evaluations and therapeutic plans; educate clients to improve daily living activities.
• Follow guidelines, maintain regulatory compliance and contribute to department goals.
