Job summary

Powerback seeks an Occupational Therapist to help patients regain function and independence in an in-facility setting. You will assess needs, develop recovery plans, and provide occupational therapy tailored to each patient.

You will be a healing and teaching partner, addressing the whole patient and collaborating with a care team to ensure optimal outcomes and quality of life for clients served.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy accredited by ACOTE standards.
• Initial registration with NBCOT.
• Valid and unencumbered OT license as required by the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop recovery plans.
• Deliver occupational therapy to restore independence.
• See the whole patient and tailor programs to individual goals.
• Collaborate with a team and refer patients as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers to promote independence.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy (ACOTE)

Initial NBCOT Certification

Licensed Occupational Therapist per state requirements
