Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan, direct, and administer OT programs to restore function and help patients reach maximum independence. You will assess conditions, develop and update plans with patients and families, and guide therapeutic activities to improve daily living skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in Pennsylvania upon hire.
• American Heart Association BLS certification upon hire.
• Excellent communication with patients, families and coworkers.
• Provide safe, compassionate, and competent OT treatments.
• Must meet physical demands for OT duties.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and implements appropriate occupational therapy plans of care to restore function and improve independence.
• Implements individualized treatment plans using evidence-based techniques such as therapeutic exercises and functional mobility training.
• Provides occupational therapy treatment aligned with the patient’s needs assessment.
• Performs reassessment when indicated and adjusts OT plans accordingly.
• Communicates patient progress to supervisor, physician, and team members.
• Implements an OT plan of care considering age-specific and family-directed needs.
• Provides supervision in accordance with regulatory requirements, as appropriate.
• Establishes measurable goals and time frames for OT treatment.
• Ensures cost-effective care following billing guidelines and completes required documentation.
