Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide medically prescribed therapy across pediatric to geriatric patients. You will develop care plans, evaluate progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to restore function and maximize independence.

The role requires a Georgia-licensed OT, a Bachelor's degree in OT, and completion from an approved OT program. Internship experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current license holder of the Georgia Board.
• Bachelor's Degree. Graduate of an approved school for Occupational Therapy.
• One (1) year internship (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provides cost-effective and high quality care to patients.
• Establishes a plan of care consistent with medical findings and physician orders.
• Evaluates, monitors, and reassesses patients and documents appropriately.
• Coordinates patient care with an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintains professional standards and documentation.
• Supports efficient department operations and productivity.
• Communicates effectively with medical staff and patients, demonstrating good customer service.
