Advocate Health is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join our team in North Carolina. The role involves comprehensive patient assessments, treatment planning, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

The position requires an OT degree, current state licensure, and CPR (BLS Level C). Relocation assistance of up to $7,500 is available for qualified candidates, with weekday schedule and occasional Saturdays as needed.

Formación

• B.S. or M.S. degree from accredited occupational therapy school.
• Current licensure in the state of practice.
• CPR certification in Basic Life Support, Level C.

Responsabilidades

• Adheres to hospital policies to promote a cooperative work environment and maintain quality of services.
• Provides patient care assessment and treatment with sound professional judgment and realistic goals.
• Maintains accurate documentation including evaluations, progress notes, discharge notes and ICD-10 codes.
• Meets department productivity standards and adjusts schedules to meet patient and department needs.
• Participates in process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency of services.
• Promotes professional development by conducting in-service training and sharing clinical expertise with staff and students.
• Communicates professionally with patients, families, physicians, and staff to ensure clear understanding of plans and outcomes.
• Delivers age-appropriate care with up-to-date knowledge of growth and aging process.

Educación

Current licensure in the state

CPR certification (BLS Level C)
