Nassau Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Hempstead, NY is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to help residents regain independence through personalized therapy plans. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a supportive environment where your work makes a difference.

This full-time position offers competitive pay of $50-$60 per hour based on experience, along with medical and dental insurance, a 401(k), generous PTO, and employee recognition within Excelsior Care

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Active New York Occupational Therapist license.
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities preferred.

Mansioni

• Conduct evaluations and create individualized treatment plans tailored to residents’ goals.
• Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions to promote independence in daily living.
• Monitor and document resident progress, making adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive, high-quality care.
• Support residents recovering from illness, injury, or disability through rehabilitation services.
• Maintain accurate documentation while safeguarding resident confidentiality.
• Foster a positive, respectful, and compassionate care environment.
