Job summary

Faculty Physicians Inc. seeks an Occupational Therapist to evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with orthopedic teams. You will educate families and ensure safe discharge while maintaining clear documentation and billing compliance.

This role requires MD licensure (or eligibility) in Occupational Therapy, a ACOTE-approved OT degree, and willingness to float between locations within the University system.

Qualifications

• ACOTE-accredited OT degree and clinical rotations completed.
• MD license or eligibility to practice OT in Maryland.
• CHT preferred but not required; pursuit of CHT encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, goal-directed patient treatment to maximize outcomes.
• Evaluate patients, set goals, and develop treatment programs.
• Educate patients and families for in-hospital care and safe discharge.
• Ensure accurate medical record documentation and compliant billing.
• Coordinate patient care across departments and locations.
• Float between locations as needed.
