Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist to evaluate residents, develop and implement therapy plans, and supervise staff. You will coordinate with physicians, nurses, and families, ensuring documentation and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy; Master’s/Doctorate preferred.
• CPR certification may be required by licensure.
• Proficiency with Net Health and Point Click Care software.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine OT needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and independence.
• Supervise COTA and aides in resident care and activities.
• Communicate progress with physicians, nursing staff, residents and families.
• Complete timely documentation compliant with facility and payer requirements.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals and home programs.
