Fortuna Rehabilitation in Fortuna, CA is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide direct patient care and contribute to the therapy team’s outcomes. The role involves evaluating and treating patients, developing treatment plans, and documenting progress according to regulatory requirements.

You will supervise OT assistants and aides, coordinate with families and physicians, educate staff, and help maintain a positive interdisciplinary culture while upholding safety standards and high-quality

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation preferred.
• Experience in adult neurological, cardiac, and/or general rehabilitation preferred.
• Current Occupational Therapist state licensure.
• Current CPR certification.

Mansioni

• Evaluate and treat patients; develop treatment plans and obtain physician approvals.
• Supervise Certified OT Assistants and/or Aides in direct patient care.
• Document services in the medical record and ensure billing documentation alignment.
• Communicate with families, physicians, and health team members about patient progress.
• Instruct families or nursing staff in follow-up programs and rehabilitation goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and contribute to quarterly care conferences.
