Job summary

Mercy in the United States is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience across acute, rehab, outpatient, home health or long-term care settings. The role requires a Graduate of an accredited OT program, current state OT license, and CPR certification.

Strong assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and collaboration skills are essential, with ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work independently as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Current state OT license.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in acute, rehab, outpatient, home health or long-term care.
• Two years of experience in acute care or home care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently schedule patient visits in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assess patients and develop treatment plans.
• Maintain documentation and communicate with office staff.
• Drive when required and adapt to changing conditions.
• Collaborate with agency staff, physicians, hospital staff and the public.
• Handle emergencies and maintain patient confidentiality.
