Job summary

Post Rehabilitation Services in North Andover, MA is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team at the Andover Forest Post Acute Care Center. This full-time role focuses on improving residents' independence and participation in daily activities through holistic OT interventions.

You will perform comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized plans, address ADLs and safety, recommend adaptive equipment, and collaborate with nurses, physicians, and families

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license required.
• Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide treatment focused on ADLs, upper extremity function, balance, cognition and safety.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications to support independence.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy staff, physicians and families to coordinate care.
• Monitor progress, update treatment plans and maintain documentation.
