HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join a leading healthcare team in Sanford, FL. You will evaluate patients, develop personalized plans, and deliver hands-on therapy to restore independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• OT required for practice in rehabilitation.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• BCLS certification within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating each patient’s functional abilities and needs, then developing individualized therapy plans with physicians and the care team.
• Delivering skilled, evidence-based interventions to promote healing and independence.
• Monitoring patient progress, adjusting plans as needed, and documenting outcomes.
• Educating patients and families to build understanding and engagement.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary partners to ensure smooth transitions of care.
• Leading by example and guiding therapy assistants or students.
