Job summary

Mercy in Missouri is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our patient care team. The role requires graduation from an accredited OT program and an active OT license or eligibility, with temporary licensure possible for up to 90 days.

Current BLS certification is preferred, and the ability to respond to emergencies is essential. NBCOT certification is a plus, reflecting our commitment to high standards in occupational therapy practice at Mercy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapy license or eligibility within the hiring state, may work under a temporary license up to 90 days.
• Current BLS through the American Heart Association.

Overview

Provides patient care by organizing and conducting medically prescribed programs in order to achieve maximum potential. Displays treatment skills practicing within the scope of State Practice Act and in compliance with all rules and regulations with National Board and governing bodies in the state of practice. Promotes growth and development of department by assisting in special projects and/or coordinating activities in patient care programs.
