Mercy in Clayton, Missouri is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered care through organized, medically prescribed programs. You will assess needs, develop treatment plans, and document progress as part of a collaborative care team.

The role requires a Missouri OT license or eligibility, Current BLS, and the ability to respond to emergencies. You will contribute to program growth, participate in special projects, and help advance Mercy’s mission of compassionate,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapy license or eligibility in the hiring state.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Ability to respond to emergency situations.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care by organizing and conducting prescribed OT programs within scope.
• Demonstrate OT treatment skills in accordance with state regulations and national guidelines.
• Support department growth by assisting special projects and coordinating patient care activities.

Overview

Provides patient care by organizing and conducting medically prescribed programs in order to achieve maximum potential. Displays treatment skills practicing within the scope of State Practice Act and in compliance with all rules and regulations with National Board and governing bodies in the state of practice. Promotes growth and development of department by assisting in special projects and/or coordinating activities in patient care programs.

Position Details:

Hours: Weekdays with weekend rotation

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program

Licensure: Current Occupational Therapy license or eligibility within the hiring state, may work under a temporary license up to 90 days.

Certifications: Current BLS through the American Heart Association

Other: Must be able to respond to emergency situations

Preferred Certifications:

National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy
