Mercy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver patient care through organized, prescribed programs. You will practice within state scope, participate in program development, and support department growth.

The role requires an accredited OT degree, an active license or eligibility, and current BLS certification. Emergency response capability and weekend rotation are part of the schedule.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapy license or eligible in the hiring state; temporary license up to 90 days.
• Current BLS certification through American Heart Association.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations.
• Preferred: National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy.

• Coordinate activities in patient care programs within the scope of State Practice Act.

Provides patient care by organizing and conducting medically prescribed programs in order to achieve maximum potential. Displays treatment skills practicing within the scope of State Practice Act and in compliance with all rules and regulations with National Board and governing bodies in the state of practice. Promotes growth and development of department by assisting in special projects and/or coordinating activities in patient care programs.

Hours: Weekdays with weekend rotation

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program

Licensure: Current Occupational Therapy license or eligibility within the hiring state, may work under a temporary license up to 90 days.

Certifications: Current BLS through the American Heart Association

Other: Must be able to respond to emergency situations

Preferred Certifications:
