AdvisaCare is hiring an Occupational Therapist in Michigan to develop and oversee personalized treatment plans, work closely with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team, and help clients regain independence through meaningful activities.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and adherence to professional standards in a supportive community setting.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited OT program.
• Current Michigan OT licensure.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Conduct occupational exercises and activities with clients to improve independence and functional abilities.
• Assess and document clients' progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and caregivers, providing support and answering questions.
• Adhere to all relevant legal, ethical, and professional standards.
