Job summary

Coastal Rehabilitation in North Charleston, SC is seeking an Occupational Therapist to screen, evaluate and treat patients, document services, and collaborate with families and an interdisciplinary team to maximize participation in daily living activities.

The role requires graduation from an accredited OT program, current state license, NBCOT certification, BLS, and at least one year of geriatric rehab experience; supervision of OTAs and aides is required, with a strong emphasis on quality care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Minimum one year of OT experience, preferably in geriatric rehab.
• Current license to practice OT in the respective state.
• NBCOT certification.
• BLS certification.
• Reliable transportation.

Position Summary

The Occupational Therapist screens, evaluates and treats patients/residents, documents services and communicates with families and interdisciplinary team members while facilitating optimization of patient/resident participation in activities of daily living.

Posted Salary Range

USD $60.00 - USD $60.00 /Hr.

Wage Commensuration

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an accredited program in Occupational Therapy.
• Must have one year experience as an Occupational Therapist (geriatric rehabilitation setting preferred)
• Must have current license to practice Occupational Therapy in facility-specific state
• Must have current certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Must have current certification in Basic Life Support.
• Reliable transportation required
