Coastal Rehabilitation in Bennettsville, SC is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support patient well-being, rehabilitation and participation in daily activities. You will screen and treat patients, document services, and communicate with families and the interdisciplinary team.

The role requires an accredited OTA program graduate with NBCOT and BLS certifications, plus relevant geriatric rehab experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• One year experience as OTA, preferably geriatric rehab.
• Current NBCOT certification and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional Occupational Therapy services.
• Completes documentation accurately and timely.
• Participates in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives.
• Works efficiently and effectively while utilizing facility resources responsibly.

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Occupational Therapist, the Occupational Therapy Assistant supports patient/resident well-being, rehabilitation and recovery. Screens and treats patients/residents, documents services and communicates with families and interdisciplinary team members while facilitating optimization of patient/resident participation in activities of daily living.

Posted Salary Range

USD $38.00 - USD $38.00 /Hr.

Wage Commensuration

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide professional Occupational Therapy services.
• Completes documentation accurately and timely.
• Participates in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives.
• Works efficiently and effectively whole utilizing facility resources responsibly.
• Maintains adequate and up to date knowledge of Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation Services and setting specific clinical and regulatory practices.
• Complies with all facility policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Must have one year experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (geriatric rehabilitation setting preferred)
• Must have current license to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in facility-specific state
• Must have current certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Must have current certification in Basic Life Support.
• Reliable transportation required
