Job summary

Atrium Medical Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist (PRN) for outpatient hand therapy services. You will assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans and deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

This role emphasizes collaboration within the interdisciplinary care team, patient and family education, and coordinating plans for ongoing care. Hand therapy experience is preferred; Ohio OT licensure and BLS within 30 days of hire are required.

Qualifications

Occupational Therapist (PRN)

• Outpatient clinic (hand therapy)
• PRN: Hours vary | typically between 8am to 6:30pm

The Occupational Therapist plays an integral leadership role within the interdisciplinary care team, helping to guide patient-centered treatment. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans and goals in partnership with patients, and delivering a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

The therapist also provides education and support to patients and their families while coordinating plans for ongoing care. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the therapist contributes to staff development, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement of professional practices. A strong focus on exceptional customer service and collaboration is essential to the success of this role and the overall performance of the department.

Education:

Occupational Therapy degree from an accredited program

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Current Occupational Therapy license in State of Ohio.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Experience

• Hand Therapy experience preferred
• Preferred experience: 1-3 years of job-related experience.
