Job summary

VibraLife, a Vibra Healthcare facility in Mechanicsburg, PA, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join its rehabilitation team. The OT will provide and direct therapy services to residents, performing assessments, planning and implementing treatment programs, and maintaining required documentation.

The role requires an active OT license, NBCOT credentialing, and BLS certification. Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is preferred, with a strong emphasis on regulatory

Qualifications

• Active license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of employment.
• Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy required; Masters preferred.
• NBCOT certification and state licensure required per state practice.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing and directing Occupational Therapy Services to residents including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation and communication. Functions under physician’s orders.

Required Skills

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of employment required.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy where accepted. Masters Degree required otherwise.
• NBCOT registered and licensed per state of practice requirements.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• Knowledge of One (1) year of experience preferred.
• Skilled Nursing Facility Medicare skilled services requirements preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
