Job summary

Vibra Hospital of Boise is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join our team on a PRN/per diem basis. You will provide and direct Occupational Therapy services, including assessment, treatment planning, and documentation under physician orders, in a fast-paced hospital setting in Boise, ID. Requirements include a B.S.

in OT (or higher), state licensure, NBCOT registration, and current BLS. One year of experience is preferred; strong organizational and decision-making skills are

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy as required/accepted
• Master's Degree required otherwise
• NBCOT registered and state license per practice requirements
• Current, valid state license/registration required
• BLS certification from Vibra-approved vendor required
• One year of experience preferred
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions
• No illegal drug use in the workplace

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct Occupational Therapy services to patients.
• Assess and treat patients; plan and implement programs and documentations.
• Communicate with physician and care team regarding patient progress.

Hospital Details

Vibra Hospital of Boise, located in Boise, ID, is a 40 bed Critical Care Hospital, providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing and directing Occupational Therapy Services to patients including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation and communication. Functions under physician’s orders.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy where accepted.
• Masters Degree required otherwise.
• NBCOT registered and licensed per state of practice requirements.
• Current, valid, and active registration or license per state requirements in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

• One (1) year of experience preferred. Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
