Job summary

Symbria is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist in Iowa City, IA to join our Rehab Team at StoryPoint – Hickory Hill. You will impact the lives of older adults by establishing treatment plans and supervising assistants. The ideal candidate is a graduate from an accredited OT school, holds a valid state license, and may have acute care or long-term care experience. We offer competitive pay, a 401k plan and a fully employer-funded ESOP retirement plan.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid or pending state license as an Occupational Therapist.
• Acute care, long-term care, and/or rehabilitation experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Overview

Are you an Occupational Therapist (OT) with a desire to impact the lives of the older adult population? If so, our Rehab Team at StoryPoint – Hickory Hil in Iowa City, IA is seeking its next employee-owner team member. This is a PRN OT position to cover weekdays.

Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you will establish appropriate goals and creatively execute the treatment plans along with supervision of the Occupational Therapist Assistants. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be required to maintain productivity standards and complete required documentation. More importantly, you will help your patients achieve critical outcomes while acting as a trusted partner to the community you serve.

Qualifications

• Be a graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapists.
• Hold a valid or pending state license. We welcome new grads!
• It’s great to have had acute care, long-term care and/or rehabilitation experience but not always required!
