Job summary

AdvisaCare is hiring an Occupational Therapist to join our community-based care team in Michigan. You will develop and implement personalized treatment plans, work one-on-one with clients to restore independence, and educate families on safety and daily living skills.

In this role, you will evaluate progress, set goals of care, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes. We value patient-centered care and community impact.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapist in Michigan.
• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist program.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans created by the OT.
• Lead occupational exercises and activities to improve independence and functional abilities.
• Assess and document client progress; adjust plans as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Communicate with clients, families, and caregivers; provide education and support.
• Adhere to relevant legal, ethical, and professional standards.

Requirements
