Job summary

PruittHealth Corporation is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Therapy Services team in a post-acute care setting. You will conduct evaluations, develop care plans, and provide treatments in alignment with policy and the individualized OT plan, while maintaining timely documentation.

We support your career with merit increases, growth programs, and preceptorship, and emphasize health and safety for our therapists. Valid OT license and NBCOT eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Valid professional OT license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of ACOTE accredited OT program and eligible to take NBCOT exams.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and thorough documentation.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations, assessments and treatments per OT plan and policy.
• Complete all documentation and records in a timely and accurate manner.
• Follow established policies and procedures related to OT scope of practice.
• Recognize and respond to patient care priorities with initiative and judgment.
• Complete orientations, in-services and trainings timely.
• Perform other related duties as directed by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with policy and the individualized occupational therapy care plan
• Complete all documentation and records in a timely and accurate manner
• Follow established policies and procedures as related to the scope of practice
• Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care showing initiative and sound judgment
• Complete all required orientations, in-services, and trainings successfully and in a timely manner
• Performs other related duties as necessary and as directed by supervisor

Qualifications

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Valid professional OT license in the state of practice
• Graduate of ACOTE accredited school and eligible to take or has passed the NBCOT exams (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy). If foreign-trained, must meet the same qualifications as U.S. educational program requirements
