Job summary

Focused Care at Mount Pleasant seeks an Occupational Therapist to evaluate patients and develop therapy programs in collaboration with the physician, delivering treatments and supervising support staff as needed.

You will administer active and passive exercises, ADL retraining, and cognitive techniques, guiding patients toward independence while coordinating with the Rehab Director and the care team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's/Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Current license/registration by state of hire as an Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Establish and evaluate treatment programs, plans of care and goals with physician input.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to ensure effectiveness of programs.
• Apply therapeutic modalities and activities to stimulate function and manage pain.
