Sigma Health Rehab is seeking a per diem Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility in Queensbury, NY. The role focuses on evaluating residents, creating rehab plans, and supporting mobility and independence with the rehab staff in a state-of-the-art setting.

We offer mentorship, clinical support for all therapists, weekly paychecks, flexible schedules and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Current New York State OT License.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate residents’ conditions and develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans.
• Relieve residents’ pain using exercises, hands-on therapy and stretching.
• Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants.
• Maintain resident confidence and protect facility by keeping information confidential.
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members and contributes to team effort.

Formation

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program

Current New York State OT License
