Sigma Health Rehab in Granville, New York is seeking a per diem Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our skilled therapy team at Slate Valley Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing.

You will evaluate residents, design rehabilitation plans, relieve pain with exercises and therapy, supervise PT assistants, and ensure confidentiality while meeting all regulatory requirements. We offer mentorship, weekly pay, and opportunities for career growth, including evening and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
• Current New York State OT License

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ conditions & develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans
• Relieve residents' pain using exercises, hands-on therapy & stretching
• Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants
• Maintain resident confidence & protects facility by keeping information confidential
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members & contributes to team effort
