Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital-Springfield in Springfield, Missouri is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team on a PRN schedule. Location: Springfield, Missouri. Compensation: $52 per hour, with a $7,500 sign-on bonus. This role offers a per diem arrangement and opportunities for professional growth.

The OT will participate in discharge planning, supervise OTAs and OT/COTA students, perform individual therapy, monitor patient progress, and engage in ongoing continuing education.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.

• Participate in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education and adaptive equipment
• Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants (OTAs), as well as OT and COTA students
• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens
• Monitor patients’ responses to treatment
• Participate in continuing education seminars and in-services
