Job summary

Select Medical in Springdale, AR is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a per diem role at Regency Hospital Springdale. Schedule is Per Diem with no weekend requirements.

The OT will participate in discharge planning, supervise OTAs and students, and conduct individualized therapy regimens while monitoring patient progress. Minimum qualifications include current state OT licensure and BLS certification or completion within 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist required.
• BLS certification or completion within first 90 days of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education and adaptive equipment
• Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants (OTAs), as well as OT and COTA students
• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens
• Monitor patients’ responses to treatment
• Participate in continuing education seminars and in-services
