Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital-Springfield is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to support inpatient post-ICU recovery in Springfield, Missouri. This PRN role offers compensation of $52 per hour and a $7,500 sign-on bonus, with orientation to ensure a smooth transition.

You will participate in discharge planning, supervise OTAs and OT/COTA students, and deliver individualized therapy regimens while monitoring patient responses and advancing your ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education and adaptive equipment
• Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants (OTAs), as well as OT and COTA students
• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens
• Monitor patients’ responses to treatment
• Participate in continuing education seminars and in-services
