Job summary

HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our pediatric inpatient and outpatient therapy team.

The PT will delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services and serve as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers and self-professional advancement. The position offers 40 hours per week with day shifts (8am-4:30pm), flexible 8- or 10-hour shifts, and one Saturday per month (8am-12pm).

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program meeting licensure requirements in the state of practice.
• IL licensure as Physical Therapist or eligibility to practice, with licensure within 6 months.
• WI licensure or temporary licensure with licensure within 6 months.
• Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) or completion within 90 days of employment.

Pay Range:

$34.21 - $51.31

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our pediatric inpatient and outpatient therapy team.

Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven individuals who are responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services and who serves as an educator for patients, families, students, co-workers and self-professional advancement. PT will also perform other professional duties associated with the care of patient, development of therapy program services, and engagement and development of interdisciplinary teams.

• Department: Pediatric inpatient and outpatient
• Core Function: Rehab/Therapy/Sleep
• Schedule: Full time - 40 hrs/wkly - day 8am-430pm but flexible in offering 8 or 10 hour shifts - weekend rotation of one Saturday a month working 8am-12pm - no other weekend requirements and no on call

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• IL: State Licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required OR has been authorized to practice by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation (IDFPR) and must obtain licensure within 6 months.
• WI: State Licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required OR has been issued a temporary licensure to practice and must obtain licensure within 6 months.
• Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) or completion in the first 90 days of employment is required.
