Job summary

Altru Clinic in Devils Lake, ND seeks an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. You will educate patients and families, coordinate treatment plans, and contribute to discharge planning while maintaining documentation standards.

The role requires state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, BLS, and the ability to work within a dynamic care environment. A sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 is offered.

Qualifications

• ND OT License or eligibility required.
• NBCOT certification within 6 months of start date.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Select and perform evaluation and treatment methods per patient age, diagnosis, and orders.
• Orient patients and family to therapy purpose and procedures.
• Provide patient education and family teaching related to treatment.
• Coordinate treatment schedules with disciplines using proper procedures.
• Monitor program outcomes and initiate new programs as needed.
• Document all required patient information and plans of care.
• Participate in discharge planning and inter-disciplinary collaboration.
