Job summary

Altru Health in Grand Forks, ND is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in compliance with licensure standards. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to develop patient goals and discharge plans, educating patients and families on treatment procedures and home programs.

The role also involves supervising OTA and ensuring accurate documentation. Required: North Dakota OT license (or start within period), NBCOT certification (or eligible within 6 months), and

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Current state license to practice Occupational Therapy in North Dakota or ability to obtain it.
• Certification: NBCOT or be eligible for NBCOT within 6 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients per their diagnosis, symptoms, and physician orders.
• Orient patients and families to therapy evaluation procedures.
• Educate patients and families on treatment procedures, devices, home programs, and health topics.
• Coordinate treatment schedules with interdisciplinary teams and monitor outcomes.
• Provide supervision to OTA in accordance with state licensure and delivery standards.
