Job summary

Kansas Surgery & Recovery Center is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our busy surgical center as we open a rehabilitation unit. The role focuses on conducting evaluations and providing effective rehab treatments for patients during their stay.

The ideal candidate will have rehab experience, NBCOT, and a Kansas license, with BLS certification required. This position offers part-time hours (minimum 20 per week) and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Occupational Therapy and rehab experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program; NBCOT examination passed; current Kansas license.
• BLS certification required.

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our busy surgical center as we are set to open a rehabilitation unit. This role includes providing evaluations and treatment in a competent, effective, and efficient manner to patients during their rehab stay. The ideal candidate will have rehab experience and knowledge of rehab requirements and documentation that is required. This position requires a commitment to patient safety, accuracy, and respect for patient rights and dignity.

HOURS

Part-Time, Minimum 20 hours per week. Monday-Friday with rotating coverage of weekends and holidays.

Candidate must have knowledge of Occupational Therapy and previous experience in the rehab setting is preferred.

Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program, pass the NBCOT examination, and have a current Kansas license. A valid BLS certification is required.
