Job summary

Kansas Surgery & Recovery Center in Kansas is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our busy surgical center as we open a rehabilitation unit.

The ideal candidate will have rehab experience, knowledge of therapy documentation, and a commitment to patient safety and dignity.

Must be a graduate of an accredited OT program, pass NBCOT, hold a Kansas license, and be BLS-certified.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Must pass the NBCOT examination.
• Must hold a current Kansas OT license and BLS certification.
• Rehab experience and knowledge of rehab documentation are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluations and treatment to patients in the rehab unit.
• Ensure patient safety, accuracy, and dignity during therapy.
• Complete required rehab documentation and progress notes.

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our busy surgical center as we are set to open a rehabilitation unit. This role includes providing evaluations and treatment in a competent, effective, and efficient manner to patients during their rehab stay. The ideal candidate will have rehab experience and knowledge of rehab requirements and documentation that is required. This position requires a commitment to patient safety, accuracy, and respect for patient rights and dignity.

HOURS

Full-Time, 5 days per week with rotating coverage of weekends and holidays.

Candidate must have knowledge of Occupational Therapy and previous experience in the rehab setting is preferred.

Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program, pass the NBCOT examination, and have a current Kansas license. A valid BLS certification is required.
