Job summary

Providence Swedish in Seattle is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver and supervise pediatric rehabilitation services for children from birth to 18 years old. Care is family-centered and team-based, focusing on maximizing functional outcomes.

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy, Washington OT License on hire, and BLS certification (American Heart Association). Pediatric rehab experience is preferred; new graduates with internship exposure will be considered.

Job description

The pediatric rehabilitation services occupational therapist delivers and supervises others in the delivery of services to children, birth to 18 years old. Services provided upon referral include evaluations, developing individual treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes, implementation of the treatment program, reassessment of treatment results and discharge planning. Services are delivered within the framework of a team approach, appropriate disciplines, and family centered, involving family, caregivers and patient. These services are delivered in compliance with ethical standards, policies and procedures, national and professional standards, state practice acts for occupational therapists, and current accepted state of the art practice.
