Job summary

Providence in Issaquah is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver and supervise comprehensive occupational therapy services. The role involves performing evaluations, developing personalized care plans, and ensuring collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team.

As a key member of the team, you will work with pediatric/adolescent orthopedic patients and have responsibilities across both inpatient and outpatient settings, all while adhering to ethical standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Must have Washington Occupational Therapist License upon hire.
• Must hold National Provider BLS certification from American Heart Association upon hire.

Job description

The occupational therapist (OT) delivers and supervises others in the delivery of occupational therapy services. Upon referral, the OT performs evaluations and develops individual plans of care to maximize functional outcomes, implements the plans of care, reassesses treatment results, and actively participates in discharge planning. Services are delivered within the framework of a team approach, including appropriate disciplines, significant others and the patient. Provision of care for pediatric adolescent orthopedic patients may be required. Coverage of both inpatient and outpatient services may be required at the Ballard and Issaquah clinics. These services are delivered in compliance with ethical standards, policies and procedures, national and professional standards, state practice acts, and current accepted state of the art practice.
