Select Physical Therapy in Ormond Beach, Florida, is seeking local Occupational Therapists for as-needed / PRN coverage at ouroutpatient orthopedic center! We can consider new graduate occupational therapists with relative outpatient orthopedic fieldwork experience; at least 1 year of experience is required. You will treat an OP population of hand and upper extremity (UE), industrial, and orthopedic injuries.

Schedule: As needed, per diem hours for coverage. Our center is open as early as 8A, Monday through Friday, with evenings until 7P on Mondays and Wednesdays. Steady hours may be possible as our referrals grow. We are closed on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Best Practices: Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).


• Build Relationships: Enhance, develop and expand relationships with referral sources and maintain a positive level of interaction with centers and patients.


• Collaborative Approach: Develop objective patient goals and establish the type, frequency and duration of occupational therapy in collaboration with the referring physician.


• High Standard of Care: Understand appropriate state Practice Act and adhere to the laws that govern how OTs may practice and whom they may supervise.
