Job summary

Select Medical is seeking an experienced Hand Therapist (OT) to join our outpatient team in Port Richey, FL. This PRN, weekdays position involves treating a variety of upper extremity conditions, with splinting experience preferred.

Manage 10–12 patients daily in a well-equipped clinic alongside top hand surgeons as part of a growing national hand therapy program. Minimum of 1 year hand therapy experience is required; new grads who completed level 2 fieldwork with Select Medical are encouraged

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an AOTA accredited school of Occupational Therapy and state OT License required.
• Experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedics is required.
• Occupational Therapists with a minimum of one year recent hand therapy experience; new grads eligible if level 2 fieldwork completed with Select Medical.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, treat, re-evaluate, discharge and communicate high quality hand therapy services.
• Develop treatment plans, supervise assistants, contribute to case management and patient care.
• Maintain positive interactions with facilities and clients; expand client relations with staff.
• Stay current with OT research and apply evidence-based practice.

Occupational Therapist – Hand Therapy (PRN)Location: Port Richey, FLSchedule: Weekdays, PRNPay: $50/hr

Select Physical Therapy is seeking an experienced Hand Therapist (OT) to join our outpatient team. Treat a variety of upper extremity conditions including post-op fractures, tendon injuries, and more. Splinting experience preferred. Manage 10–12 patients per day using evidence-based care.Work alongside top hand surgeons in a well-equipped clinic. Be part of a growing national hand therapy program.

Minimum 1 year of hand therapy experience required. In lieu of experience, new grad who completed level 2 fieldwork with Select Medical, apply today!

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the evaluation, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and appropriate communications of high quality hand therapy services to patients and customers.
• Develop treatment plans, supervise assistants and aides, contribute to case management, and provide quality patient care.
• Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
• Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).

• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
• Valid driver’s license
