Job summary

Confluent Health's MOTION PT Group in the Bronx is seeking an Occupational Therapist with a Hand Therapy focus to manage a diverse orthopedic caseload and collaborate with surgeons at Montefiore Medical Center. You will join a leading outpatient Hand Therapy program and advance skills in hand therapy, postoperative care, and pediatric OT services.

We offer a competitive compensation package: $86K–$108K+, up to $10K sign-on, $250 commuting expense, on-site parking, and up to $25K in student loan

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist licensed in the state of practice (or ability to obtain)
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) strongly preferred OR CHT-eligible

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and develop individualized treatment plans
• Diagnose patients by movement observation and discussion
• Apply exercises, manual therapy, and equipment to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Record progress and modify treatment plans as needed

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing patient medical history and developing individualized treatment plans
• Diagnosing patients by observing movements and listening to concerns
• Using exercises, stretching, equipment, and manual therapy to manage pain and improve mobility
• Recording patient progress and modifying treatment plans as needed

Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (or ability to obtain in the state of practice)
• Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
• Basic computer skills
• CPR and first aid certification required
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) strongly preferred OR
  • CHT-eligible(minimum4,000 hours of hand therapy experienceand3 years of practice),awaiting board examination,OR
  • Level II fieldwork in hand therapy, withrelevant continuing education, and1–2 years of outpatient hand therapy experienceas alicensed OT, OR
  • New grads with Level II fieldwork in hand therapy with a a strong clinical interest in upper extremity rehabilitation and a commitment to pursuing advanced training and certification in hand therapy
• Experience inorthopedic hand therapy treating both adult and pediatric patients is required.

Compensation: $86K - $108K+, with an optional higher-caseload compensation model and additional compensation for eligible certifications. Benefits include generous paid time off, medical, dental, vision, disability, and 401(K) with a 4% employer match.
