Job summary

HealthMark Rehabilitation seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapist/OTR for Willowbrook Nursing Center in Nacogdoches, TX. This PRN/full-/part-time role targets residents and short-term patients within a large interdisciplinary team in a state-of-the-art facility.

You will develop care plans, deliver skilled therapy, and document treatment responses in accordance with professional standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Must hold Texas license/certification for appropriate discipline: OTR.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; organizational and analytical abilities.
• Ability to function in multi-faceted systems and interact with staff and customers.
• Demonstrated time management and independent clinical judgment.
• Background in geriatric rehabilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy services per physician orders and professional guidelines.
• Develops an overall plan of care with treatment, goals, and discharge plan.
• Performs skilled treatments according to the plan of care.
• Documents patient progress and changes within required timeframes.
• Completes billing and complies with state and federal regulations.
• Maintains rehab gym and treatment area with infection prevention practices.
