Job summary

HealthPro Heritage is seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our senior living communities in McHenry and Crystal Lake, IL. This outpatient-focused role blends clinical expertise with resident-centered care.

You will assess clients' physical and cognitive abilities, design personalized treatment plans, educate families, and document progress while collaborating with a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or license eligible.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills for OT practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: evaluate physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standard tools.
• Treatment and Education: create personalized treatment plans to meet goals and educate clients and families on daily activities and adaptive equipment.
• Documentation: maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and plans in compliance with standards.
• Advocacy and Support: assist clients in accessing community resources and accommodations.

Position Highlights:

• Wage Range: $43–$48 per hour (based on experience)
• Full-Time M-F Flexible Schedule
• Split coverage between communities in McHenry & Crystal Lake

Qualifications

• Skills: Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Proficient in developing and implementing effective treatment plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and assist patients as needed. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to therapy.
