Job summary

Osprey Point Nursing Center in Bushnell, FL seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our skilled nursing facility rehab team on a PRN basis. The OT evaluates residents, develops individualized treatment plans, and provides therapy to promote independence and safety.

Responsibilities include ADL training, functional mobility, documentation, and interdisciplinary care planning, with supervision of COTAs as applicable. Florida license required; prior long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current OT license in good standing in Florida.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Knowledge of geriatric rehabilitation and Medicare regulations.

• Provide therapy focusing on ADLs, mobility, strength, and safety.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Document accurately per Medicare and facility guidelines.

• Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.

We are seeking a compassionate and licensed Certified Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility rehabilitation team. The Occupational Therapist evaluates residents, develops individualized treatment plans, and provides occupational therapy services to promote independence, safety, and improved quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide therapy focused on ADLs, functional mobility, strength, coordination, cognition, and safety.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in compliance with Medicare and facility guidelines.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge planning.
• Supervise COTAs as applicable.
• Educate residents and families on adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.

Qualifications
