Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab is offering a per diem weekend Occupational Therapy (OT) position in a Skilled Nursing Facility located at Northern Manor Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Nanuet, NY. You will join a team of therapists to provide resident-centered rehabilitation services.

We offer mentorship and clinical support, opportunities for new grads, flexible weekend hours, and access to state-of-the-art technology within a collaborative healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Current New York State OT License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ conditions & develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans.
• Relieve resident’s pain using exercises, hands-on therapy & stretching.
• Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants.
• Maintain resident confidence & protects facility by keeping information confidential.
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members & contributes to team effort.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program

Current New York State OT License
