Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab in Monsey, NY is seeking a per diem Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team at Northern Metropolitan Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. You will evaluate residents, develop rehab plans, and provide hands-on therapy in a state-of-the-art facility.

We offer flexible per diem schedules, weekly paychecks, mentorship and clinical support, and opportunities to train new grads. This role is ideal for therapists seeking variety and impact in skilled nursing rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Current New York State OT License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ conditions & develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans
• Relieve residents’ pain using exercises, hands-on therapy & stretching
• Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants
• Maintain resident confidence & protects facility by keeping information confidential
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members & contributes to team effort

Education
