Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor/Master/Doctorate).
• Current OT license in state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' functional abilities and establish individualized OT treatment plans.
• Provide skilled interventions to improve ADLs, strength, mobility, and cognition.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
• Supervise OTAs in line with regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, families, and the care team.
• Contribute to care planning, conferences, and discharge recommendations.
• Educate patients and staff on safety and independence strategies.
• Identify adaptive equipment and recommend functional interventions.
• Complete documentation and billing within set timeframes.
• Maintain compliance with licensure requirements and OT practice standards.

What You'll Do

As an Occupational Therapist, you will use your clinical expertise to develop and deliver individualized rehabilitation services that support each patient's needs and goals. Responsibilities include:

• Assess patients' functional abilities and establish individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide skilled interventions to improve activities of daily living, strength, coordination, cognition, mobility, and overall functional performance.
• Evaluate patient response to treatment and modify interventions based on progress and changing needs.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) in accordance with applicable regulations and professional standards.
• Work closely with physicians, nursing personnel, families, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Contribute to patient care conferences, care planning, and discharge recommendations.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and facility staff on strategies that promote safety, independence, and continued progress.
• Identify appropriate adaptive equipment and recommend interventions to support functional outcomes.
• Complete clinical documentation and billing accurately and within established timeframes.
• Maintain compliance with state licensure requirements, applicable regulations, and occupational therapy practice standards.
