Job summary

Metro Therapy, Inc., a Powerback Pediatrics company, provides Occupational Therapy services to children in school settings on Long Island and NYC. You will conduct evaluations and progress tracking, deliver OT services as mandated in the IEP, and collaborate with families, educators and other professionals to support each child’s goals.

Candidates must hold a ACOTE-accredited OT degree, be NBOT registered, and possess a valid OT license.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
• Must have initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Must hold a valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy services to children in the school setting.
• Performs evaluations and assessments and tracks child progress.
• Delivers Occupational Therapy services as mandated in the IEP.
• Collaborate with other families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to support the goals of each child.
• Complete documentation and progress notes.

Posted Salary Range: USD $54.00 - USD $70.00 /Hr.
