Job summary

Metro Therapy, Inc. (a Powerback Pediatrics company) is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide school-based OT services in the Hicksville area. You will perform evaluations, deliver therapies, and monitor progress under IEP directives, collaborating with families, educators, and other professionals.

Applicants must hold a ACOTE-accredited OT degree, NBCOT registration, and a valid state OT license. Full-time roles include comprehensive benefits and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an OT curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
• Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Valid and unencumbered OT license as required by the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy services to children in the school setting.
• Perform evaluations and track child progress.
• Deliver OT services as mandated in the IEP.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators and other professionals to support each child’s goals.
• Complete documentation and progress notes.
