Job summary

Metro Therapy, Inc., a Powerback Pediatrics company, seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide school-based OT services across Long Island and NYC. You will evaluate and treat children, track progress, and deliver services per IEP while collaborating with families, educators, and professionals.

Applicants must have a ACOTE-accredited OT degree, NBCOT registration, and an active OT license in the state. Metro offers comprehensive benefits and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an ACOTE-accredited OT program.
• Initial NBCOT registration is required.
• Valid and unencumbered OT license as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy services to children in the school setting.
• Perform evaluations and track child progress.
• Deliver OT services as mandated in the IEP.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to support child goals.
• Complete documentation and progress notes.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy

Initial registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)

Valid/state licensure as Occupational Therapist
