Job summary

Metro Therapy, Inc. is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide services to children in school settings across Long Island and NYC. You will perform evaluations, track progress, and deliver OT under IEP mandates, collaborating with families, educators and professionals to support each child’s goals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in OT (ACOTE-accredited), active NBOT registration, and a valid state license. Competitive benefits apply for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
• Must have initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Must hold a valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy services to children in the school setting.
• Perform evaluations and assessments and tracks child progress.
• Delivers Occupational Therapy services as mandated in the IEP.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to support child goals.
• Complete documentation and progress notes.
